Benn Wiebe is Head of Production and Executive Producer at HF Productions where he oversees global film festivals, fiction and non-fiction content, and brokers strategic partnerships. With offices in Copenhagen, Jakarta, and New York City at the One World Trade Center Tower, Benn and his team have established an international slate of projects that center on creating educational value and opportunities for independent filmmakers. In a partnership with the United Nations, Benn is an organizer and sits on the jury for the UN SDG's in Action Film Festival. He has been a lecturer and moderator at film schools, SDG workshops, and festivals including Arctic Film Festival, Sydney Short Film Festival, Prague Film Awards, and Annual Copenhagen Film Festival.
Benn also serves as a Producer for Sybo Games and their digital channel Sybo TV which hosts 3.5 million subscribers, averages 15 million monthly viewers, and supports the most downloaded game of the decade Subway Surfers.
As of 2020 Benn also just had the feature documentary "An Elephant in the Room" on child bereavement produced by Good Company Pictures win the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at SXSW. The mission for this project is to inform on the conversation and provide educational value to the study and examination of children's developmental health in relation to grief and loss.
As a member of the Producers Guild of America international committee and Danmarks Film Akademi, Benn has made international projects a focus of his career. He produced the first ever live-stream into China at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and has produced multiple digital projects for SE Asian outlets. Now serves as a liaison in Denmark to the US to procure partnerships and hopes to co-sign a memorandum between the PGA and the major Danish institutions.
