Thomas Barnes(IV)

Writer-director Thomas Barnes' shorts, such as Pork Chop, Porgies & Bass, and Whales, have screened internationally at dozens of film festivals and have had over a million views online. His latest short Hafus in Love (2020) introduces the the story and characters for his feature project of the same name. As well as narrative shorts, he has directed multiple music videos and commercials. These include spots for Coke and M&M and music videos for Rod Stewart, Keke Palmer, & Asian legends Faye Wong and Andy Lau. Thomas is originally from Hong Kong. He is based in NYC. He has a BA in English Lit from London University and teaches directing craft at New York Film Academy.
