Commander of Multi-National Force - Iraq ( January 26, 2007, to September 16, 2008).
The General's office is located inside the former Republican Palace of Saddam Hussein in Baghdad's green zone. Petraeus shares the palace section with Ryan Crocker, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq.
Commander of ISAF-Afghanistan (June 30, 2010 to 2011).
