Federico Basso(I)

A popular face on the "Zelig" programme, Federico Basso, originally from Turin, is a comedian and television writer. He is a great admirer of stand-up comedy and has a stage presence strongly influenced by the Italian comedy tradition. In addition to cabaret, Federico has also tried his hand at improvisational theatre throughout his career. His humour has passed from the world of television to the world of social media, where the videos he posts continue to be very successful. Federico publishes various POVs on his personal platforms, starting from those that play on generational differences, moving on to funny parodies, and videos of hilarious paradoxical situations based on everyday life, Basso never ceases to make his followers laugh with content that is always new and original and characterized by brilliant wit. After his sold out shows in Milan last April, Federico continues his tour of the theatres with the show "Profilo Basso", a one-man show that uses his experience as a comedian on loan to social media, to create a monologue based on his years of stage activity and popular shows. Stage presence, comic timing, grace and wit make Federico Basso a sharp, intelligent artist and a great observer of contemporary customs and society. He is capable of observing comic situations and surreal contradictions in order to bring them back to the stage.
