Erick Ruiz Arellano

Sound recordist, designer and artist. He has done sound for more than 60 feature films and multiple documentaries for Nat Geo, BBC, Netflix, Discovery, Amazon, Lucas Film, Disney, PBS, MTV, including productions by Darren Aronofsky and Roger Corman. For more than 20 years he has made sound recordings in more than 30 countries, especially in Mexico and India. All of his work is made up of manipulations of these own recordings, mainly sounds of rituals, traditions and nature made at original towns of the American and Asian continents. His discography contains 19 albums in different genres from experimental music and sound art to meditation music.
