Jeanne LaSala Taylor

Jeanne LaSala Taylor is a professional actor and dancer from Pelham, NY. She trained as an actor at the Shakespeare Theater in Washington, DC, HB Studios in NYC, the British American Dramatic Academy in Oxford, the Institut d'Études Français in Avignon and received her MFA in acting from UC Irvine. She has taught acting, voice and speech, ballroom dance and movement at various universities across the country.
She is best known for her work on Guiding Light and Days of Our Lives, but has played lead roles in many independent films including One Day in January, Ashes (Selection, Angelika New Filmmakers Series, Dances with Films LA) 7:42 and Little Girl Blue, directed by Tina Romero (daughter of George Romero, Night of the Living Dead). She was nominated for an NJACT Perry Award as Best Actress for Jennifer in Snakebit at The Attic Ensemble.
You may find her teaching vinyasa yoga in studios in and around New York City, as she just completed her 200hr YTT in Nosara, Costa Rica. She is also the author of the award-winning children's book Just Bunny and the Great Fire Rescue, which gives a portion of its proceeds to the NY FireFighters Burn Center Foundation.
Jeanne is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association and lives in New York with her husband, two daughters and rescue pup.
