Indie Comedy No Postage Necessary becomes first feature to the blockchain, gets new trailer

Two Roads Picture Co. have announced the premiere of its first feature No Postage Necessary is set to make its worldwide debut on the blockchain this summer.

Jeremy Culver wrote, directed and produced the dramatic comedy about a luckless computer hacker who falls for a pretty war widow. The film stars George Blagden and Charleene Closshey (who co-wrote the screenplay and composed the score).

This Saturday, TV One will premiere Media, a film about the power struggles within a family that runs a media corporation. Media focuses on the Jones family and their media empire, Jones Universal Media Properties, better known as Jump, as matriarch Jackie (Penny Johnson Jerald) and her son Michael (Brian White) combat forces in and outside their family that seek to destroy everything they’ve spent their lives building. Flickering Myth got the chance to speak with Stelio Savante, one of the actors in the film who plays underground power broker Howard Boston. Savante has had a long career in television and film such as Ugly Betty, Eisenstein in Guanajuarto and The Making of the Mob: New York. Charleene Closshey stars as Evie Lee in the movie Evergreen Christmas, a tale of a woman torn between her musical career and her family responsibilities. Arclight Films to launch Tell sales

The Efm crime thriller stars Milo Ventimiglia, Katee Sackhoff and Jason Lee. Separately, Spotlight Pictures has announced its Berlin sales slate.

J M R Luna directed Arclight’s Tell, about a small-time crook who lands in trouble when he pulls of a major bank robbery.

Kevin Mann, Matt Perniciaro and Christopher Boyd of Haven Entertainment produced with Ventimiglia (pictured) and Russ Cundiff of Divide Pictures (Static). Mauricio Betancur, Rick Matros and George Voskericyan are the executive producers.

The film is currently in post and is scheduled for a summer release. Arclight will present previously unseen footage.

Spotlight Pictures CEO Matt McCombs has unveiled five projects for the market. The musically inspired There is Always Woodstock stars Allison Miller, James Wolk, Rumer Willis, Ryan Guzman, Katey Sagal, Anna Anissimova and Brittany Snow.
