Logan Paul's Valley Girl Remake Has Been Shelved

With just under five months until it's previously-planned release, MGM has yanked its upcoming Valley Girl remake from its release schedule. While the studio didn't comment on the move, nor did it issue a new release date, it likely has to do with the involvement of embattled YouTube star Logan Paul, who has a supporting role. The studio has moved The Hustle, a remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson, into the June 29 release date, where it will go up against Lionsgate's Uncle Drew and Sony's Sicario 2: Soldado.

Production had wrapped last year on MGM's Valley Girl remake, which stars Jessica Rothe as Julie Richman, a sweet young girl from the San Fernando Valley, who falls for a Hollywood rocker named Randy (Josh Whitehouse), roles originated by Deborah Foreman and Nicolas Cage in the original 1983 classic. As for Logan Paul, he plays a supporting character named Mickey,

Jim Gordon Sports A ‘Stache In New Gotham Images

Since the beginning, there always existed jokes regarding the absence of Jim Gordon’s mustache on Gotham. Really, I even saw memes and such likening it to Superman’s cape, even jesting that he wouldn’t grow out his pushbroom until the series finale, similar to how Clark Kent embraced his destiny in Smallville‘s concluding episode.

Well, it looks like the city’s top cop is going to finally have a cookie duster to call his own once the Batman prequel series returns from its winter hiatus. Actually, it’s likely part of a dream sequence, which will be elaborated on momentarily.

In the latest round of promo images to be released, we see Gordon and others gathered at a formal event that includes Bruce Wayne. To be truthful, said photos are labeled as being from episode 4×13, which we’ve already received a gallery for, one that included shots

New Gotham Promo Teases Mr. Freeze’s Return

In just a matter of days, all will be well when Gotham returns with its much anticipated spring premiere. And, beyond that, the remainder of season 4 looks to be quite exciting as well, with Cameron Monaghan returning as Jerome Valeska, new actors filling the roles of Scarecrow and Poison Ivy, and a soon-to-be resurrected Ra’s al Ghul, among other appearances to look forward to.

Now, if the latest promo to be circulated is any indication, another one of Batman’s more popular villains will be stopping by as well. We say that because the brief video package seen above is captioned with “Fire and ice, anyone?,” outright teasing a return to be made by Mr. Freeze.

Having been played by Nathan Darrow since his introduction back in season 2, this iteration of Victor Fries has actually made me rather proud as a longtime fan of the character. The producers may

New Gotham Synopsis Teases Penguin-Riddler Reunion

In just one week, all will be right in the world once Gotham returns with its midseason premiere. But before we get there, an advance synopsis released by the network teases us with what’s to come in the not too distant future. Such is the norm as these babies often drop several weeks ahead of time, it offers up some minor, but juicy, spoilers.

When it comes to the March 15 episode, the appropriately titled “A Dark Knight: Reunion,” here’s what we’re told to expect:

Ivy (guest star Peyton List) picks her next target, leading Gordon and Lucius back to an old friend, as Selina tries to take matters into her own hands. Sofia wants full control of Gotham and turns to Lee about the state of the Narrows. Meanwhile, Bruce tries to make amends with Alfred, and Nygma visits Arkham in the all-new “A Dark Knight: Reunion” episode of Gotham airing Thursday,

Jerome Returns In Latest Round Of Gotham Promo Images

After being somewhat disappointed to hear that Jerome Valeska will be entirely absent from the midseason premiere of Gotham – no matter how heavily he’s factored into its marketing – it was nice to learn that he’s been confirmed to appear in the episode to follow.

So, now that the March 8th outing, “A Dark Knight: A Beautiful Darkness,” is within reaching distance, the network is naturally allowing more promotional material to circulate. In this instance, it’s a bounty of images culled from the highly anticipated offering, with many of them featuring Cameron Monaghan’s brilliantly crafted villain.

As you can see in the accompanying gallery, Jerome has seemingly turned the day room at Arkham Asylum into his own big top circus of sorts. And as he goads the Penguin into whatever game he’s planning, you can guarantee that we’ll be on the edge of our seats

Gotham Synopsis Promises A Jerome-less Midseason Premiere

Aside from the show being forced to take a vacation for several months, it’s probably safe to say that one of the major reasons that a fair amount of us are looking forward to Gotham‘s midseason premiere is because we expected that Jerome Valeska would heavily factor into it, right? After all, not only was he involved in the midseason finale’s cliffhanger, but he’s been prominently featured in promos and social media teasers in the time since.

Well, unfortunately, it looks like we’ll likely have to wait until the episode to follow to see what lies ahead for Jerome and how this whole “birthing” of the Joker will come about. And that’s because as you can plainly see, there’s no mention of him at all in the official synopsis for “A Dark Knight: Pieces of a Broken Mirror”:

Gordon is called to

Jerome And Poison Ivy Feature In New Extended Promo For Gotham

Not long ago, we were given a definite answer as to when Gotham will return to finish out the remaining eleven episodes of its fourth season. To some, that may not sound like the biggest news, but when you consider that we left off on a cliffhanger that included Jerome Valeska in Arkham Asylum back in December and they failed to give us a return date, well, then you can imagine why the hiatus has been doubly difficult to endure.

So, now that we have less than four weeks to go until showtime, the network is being slightly more generous with an extended promo that clocks in at just over five minutes. Sure, about half of it consists of recap, but that’s actually understandable with three months separating the midseason finale from the midseason premiere.

When it comes to the new material, though, a lot of talk is certain

Extended Gotham Trailer Teases Bruce/Selina Team-Up, Bloomed Ivy, That Joker Jerome and Batty Man

Gotham‘s Ivy, once a “seed” and then a “sprout,” now has fully “bloomed,” it is explained in an extended trailer for the back half of Season 4 (arriving Thursday, March 1 at 8/7c).

In addition to a greater gander at onetime Flash frenemy Peyton List’s take on the increasingly poisonous Miss Pepper (who invites The Sirens to make Gotham their “bitch”), the new promo — which spends its first three minutes recapping things — previews a Bruce/Selina detente that builds to a team-up; the Penguin doing that joker Jerome’s bidding behind bars

"Gotham" Officially Casts New Actor As Scarecrow

For those who watch the hit fox series, “Gotham”, it is no surprise when a villainous character gets replaced in between season. This has been the case for a few villains on the show, including that of Poison Ivy, who is now on its third switch of actor taking over the role (now being played by Peyton List in the current season), and has now made its way to the infamous Batman villain, Scarecrow. As this news has begun to take on some major buzz after rumors began just mere weeks ago, we are here to give you some of

Gotham Recast: David W. Thompson Taking Over as [Spoiler]
An infamous villain is set to stalk Gotham anew, albeit with a drastically altered appearance.

TVLine has learned exclusively that David W. Thompson has been tapped to take over the role of Scarecrow, the Big Bad psychopath previously portrayed by Charlie Tahan (pictured, right). According to an insider, Tahan’s series-regular gig on Netflix’s recently-renewed Ozark precluded him from reprising the role. (I teased the impending recast late last year in Ask Ausiello.) The character was last seen in the Season 4 premiere.

New Gotham Trailer Reveals Midseason Premiere Date

Aside from the fact that I’ve really been enjoying the current season of Gotham, there were a couple of things that helped make the midseason hiatus hard to endure. For one, the midseason finale’s cliffhanger featured the return of Jerome Valeska and, if that weren’t enough, we weren’t even given a date for when to expect the show to be back on our screens! To be honest, I feared it wouldn’t resume until April, as was the case last year.

Thankfully though, the wait will be a bit shorter, as a newly released promo titled “You Have No Idea” has revealed Gotham‘s return to be on Thursday, March 1. That’s still a bit far off, but on the plus side, it’s remaining on the same night, putting to bed any fears of a move to the Friday Night Death Slot.

Anyways, in this particular video package,

Gotham Season 4 Sets Official March Return Date

Gotham has officially announced its midseason return date, with the first episode back putting the spotlight on Jerome. Last year, Gotham headed into its winter hiatus with the return of Jerome. Sharing a cell at Arkham with the once-again incarcerated Penguin, the tease promised a proper Jerome story once the show came back. Sure enough, the Gotham midseason premiere trailer showed plenty of Jerome chaos alongside his new bestie the Penguin. It also introduced Peyton List as the third incarnation of Poison Ivy – whose appearance will tie into Bruce becoming Batman.
