Cory Reeder was raised in Fullerton, California. His parents divorced when he was ten, so television and bike rides to the local movie theater were his babysitter. Like many in his generation, experimenting with Super-8 movies, lead to digital, and he studied film and TV production at Cal State Fullerton. After graduation, Cory moved to Los Angeles, and within a few years his ambitious work ethic, and quirky sense of humor transformed him from PA into an award-winning director, producer, and screenwriter. His music videos and short films have been nominated, awarded, and featured in festivals worldwide, garnering nearly a billion views online.
In 2014, after being diagnosed with ADHD and chronic pain, a chance encounter with Actor Nic Novicki educated Cory on the lack of disability diversity in TV/ Film. Since then, Cory has focused on advocacy both in front and behind the camera on authenticity and inclusion. Global music artists like System of a Down, Jonathan Davis (Korn), Seether, Hayley Kiyoko, and most recently, The Record Company all employed disability-inclusive cast and crew under Cory's direction.
