William B. Demeritt III
William was born in Miami, Florida, though he spent most of his childhood and adolescence in Plantation, Florida. His parents are Linda and William "Bill" Demeritt, and he has one sister, Lindsey. After graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft Lauderdale, he went on to attend the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Management of Information Systems in 2001. Upon graduation, Will worked in IT for a little more than 2 years before realizing his desire to pursue a career in film. In 2004, Will earned a place in the limited-access Bachelor of Fine Arts program at UCF, continuing to work in IT/Tech Support while completing his BFA in Film, Cinematography.

William lived in New York City for a brief period, and has lived in Los Angeles, CA since April 2008. He's still a huge technology and computers enthusiast, which has only helped him with the onset of digital cinema. He discovered a passion for Steadicam operating while working on "All in the Game" for Marc Maurino in 2007. Philip J. Martinez let him try his Steadicam rig, and William was immediately hooked. Today, will is a full time Steadicam operator for film and television, as well as live events and live broadcasts. He's helped deliver content for the biggest names in television, every major network in North America, several major companies like Google, Microsoft and Blizzard, and numerous recognizable musical artists like Beyonce and Carly Rae Jepsen.
