Javier Rueda (Barcelona, 1982). Producer, filmmaker, essayist and cultural manager. Producer at Aved Productions since 2003, an independent company based in Barcelona, with several films and audiovisual projects led. Co-founder of Zumzeig Cinecooperativa in 2016, an awarded cinema theatre project. Co-author and coordinator of film essay books and publications. Panelist and moderator in filmmaking and audiovisual industry talks. Advisor of audiovisual projects in development. Industry activities Coordinator in Molins Film Festival (2017-2024), including the International Coproduction Forum, the Ventana Sur awards and the Professional Days aimed at new cinema authorship for networking, project maturation and exchange and improvement of knowledge. Member of Molins Film Festival's board of directors (2020-2024). President of Catalunya Film Festivals association (2023-2025). Actual curator and programmer at Bogotá Experimental Film Festival since 2023. Actual coordinator of "Fantastika - Ibero-American Co-production Forum for Horror and Fantasy". Actual coordinator of "Sombra Market - Market for horror and fantasy projects in the Region of Murcia". Co-creator of audiovisual awareness international projects such as "SaD Sobrevivir al Descalabro" (2020-present) and "We Exist Tour Project" (2018-2023). Coordinator of Coop d'Ull (2018-2019) and member of CO- (2023-present), both community organized film festivals. Collaborator and mentor in teenager audiovisual projects, such as "Teens Media Network" (2023-current) and "Kdm;) La Websèrie" (2011-2013). Current member of the cultural deliberative assembly spaces "Manifesta Metropolitan Assembly" and "Taula Barcelona Creativa".
