Raymond J. Markovich
Ray Markovich was raised in New Hartford, New York. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame (BBA in Accounting) where he played varsity ice hockey, Albany Law School (JD cum laude and editor of Albany Law Review) and The London School of Economics (LLM in International Business Law).

Ray is a New York attorney who resided in Russia from 1993-2009. He developed the English language Americom House of Cinema in Moscow which dominated the Russian exhibition market from 1993-96 and was Americom's attorney in its long-running dispute with the City of Moscow and Radisson.

Ray then developed and was General Director from 1996-2000 of Kodak Kinomir (a cinema/entertainment complex) in Moscow that for two years was #1 in the world in sales per seat and sales per screen. Afterwards, he founded Albany Kino in Tula, Russia (a previously closed city) which for many years was 90% or more of total box office for the Tula Oblast.

Ray has produced or executive produced 20 films including Jacked, Velvet Revolution, A Broken Life, The Black Waters of Echo's Pond, Autopsy, Nine Miles Down, The Pool Boys, Night of the Demons, Demoted, High School, Schism, Black Dog, Red Dog, American Idiots, Michael: The Last Photo Shoots and London Fields. Ray has also performed production legal and/or finance legal on numerous films.

Ray is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, the 2d, 6th and 9th Circuits, SDNY, EDNY, NDNY, EDMI and the State of New York. Ray is also a New York licensed real estate broker and a paid federal tax preparer.
