Three double-acts made up the original members of The Crazy Gang: Bud Flanagan and Chesney Allen, Jimmy Nervo and Teddy Knox, and Charlie Naughton and Jimmy Gold. When Chesney Allen left, his place was taken by Eddie Gray (who worked as a solo performer, not with Bud Flanagan).
