Dan Clifton 2016
Dan Clifton is a film producer, financier, and technologist originally from the Philadelphia area. He now splits his time between New Orleans, LA, and New York, NY.

With over forty feature films to his name, Dan has worked as a producer and executive across the U.S. and internationally. He earned his undergraduate degree from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts before moving to Los Angeles in 2009. At the age of 23, Dan produced his first film - the bank-set horror / thriller ATM - for Gold Circle Films, which was released by IFC.

From 2012 to 2016, Dan cut his teeth working for current DC Studios boss Peter Safran as Head of Production at The Safran Company, where he oversaw independent film projects.

Dan has produced films for MGM, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Lionsgate, spanning a variety of genres-from the superhero horror film Brightburn to the family music biopic Dreamin' Wild, the dark workplace thriller The Belko Experiment, and the upcoming romantic comedy Oh, Hi!, which was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics after premiering at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.

Most recently, Dan served as an executive producer on the 2025 Focus Features underwater rescue thriller Last Breath, shot in Malta and Scotland.
