Filip Halo (Filip Chalatsis) has worked for the ANT1 corporation in Greece as an editor and TV host and director assistant since 2004, having produced and edited about 3.000 trailers and TV spots, while still studying Theater and Cinema. He won best editing for his first short movie Zapping in 2003. He later produced pilots for TV shows, while working on his first feature films. Brutal in 2006 was the first to be screened in theaters, starting from the Opening Nights Film Festival in Athens with great success. He has created a number of movies until 2010 under the label Macabrofilms, mostly genre films, with a devoted fan base. He was involved in distribution for a number of years, while editing scientific and medicine documentaries and shows, Telemarketing spots and working on other movies as an editor and director's assistant. He lives in Germany since 2012, where he started his new company Incubofilms, focused on new high-end Drama, Thrillers and a new type of Film Series, The Darkest Nothing, consisting of 8 episodes/feature films for the first season.
He has studied Economics and Marketing, then Theater, with a stage experience of over 4 years as a professional actor, and then Cinema in Greece. He has acted for both television and movies in Greece and in Germany. He is a high skilled editor since 2002, an expert on Adobe Premiere and After Effects, among Velocity, Final Cut and Avid. He has worked as a cameraman with every type of camera and is very experienced in the lighting department and art direction, especially with custom huge LED lights. Since 2017 he is also focused on silicone prosthetics and Special Effects from molding and life casting to the final mask or piece.
