Originally from Pittsburgh, PA and formerly on the professional track to become a veterinarian, Shannon has now been working in the VFX/Animation and Film industry for the past 15 years.
Working around the globe, he has contributed to multiple Golden Globe and Oscar winning feature films along the way. Recently Shannon departed his role as Modeling Supervisor at Blizzard Entertainment to pursue his passion for real-time visual effects workflows and Virtual Production at Industrial Light & Magic. On his down time Shannon enjoys traveling the world with his wife, online teaching/mentoring and leaning new software or writing/directing his own short films.
