2001 - 2016 Aone Entertainment was founded in 2001 while Darrick was the international touring DJ for Kool Keith. Tour circuits in Australia, Taiwan, Japan, China, Thailand and Europe. He was the talent booker for notables including Naughty by Nature, KRS 1, Lil Wayne and Ciara. Aone handled the digital media campaign for the movie, 'Meet the Blacks.' Contracted to handle all digital social and IT services for Hidden Empire Film Group and all of their associated films.
2016 - 2019 Managed the HEFG marketing for 'Traffik.' Cofounder and creative director of 'Be Woke, Vote' a mid-term elections GOTV campaign. Produced 10- episode series with Van Jones, 'The Messy Truth with Van Jones,' 10-episode series with Roland Martin, 'Unfiltered with Roland Martin.'
2019 - Present Aone Entertainment becomes Aone Creative. Engaged by private equity and philanthropic titan, Robert F. Smith and Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. to develop the digital spaces for the series, 'Black History in Two Minutes.' Social influencer marketing campaign for Sony Screen Gems release of 'The Intruder.' HEFG marketing of 'Fatale.' Digital media campaign manager and Associate Producer for 'Meet the Blacks, and ''The House Next Door; Meet the Blacks 2.' Lead collaboration strike force of 'Be Woke, Vote' and Michael Bloomberg's Hawkfish in support of the campaign by BlackPAC. Founded On Chain Innovations making the pivot to the integration of blockchain technologies to ease various points of friction between the studio, the filmmaker, the talent and the audience. Rollout of the game 'Fear,' an NFT experience,' using NFT trends to promote the 2022 theatrical release of the movie, 'FEAR.'
