Award-winning composer and conductor, Nadeem Majdalany, has a stylistic yet unorthodox approach to music composition. Nadeem composes music for Feature Film, Television and well versed in Songwriting. He is a graduate from Berklee College of Music and has worked as a session musician, music producer, arranger before his arrival to Hollywood in 2010 to pursue his passion for film.
In 2004 Nadeem shared the stage with Robbie Krieger of The Doors rocking out on vocals and in 2005, Nadeem made his orchestral debut by conducting the Athens Symphony Orchestra in Greece. He continued on an international platform composing and conducting before bringing his baton to Los Angeles. His unique ability to fuse his passion of rock and jazz with a classical sonority has given his scores the mesmerizing quality that directors continue to seek out. He has performed his scores live as well as premiered many contemporary works including: operas, ballets, string quartets and pieces for choir.
Nadeem has a unique ability to capture the essence of string frequencies and percussive harmonies. His versatility as a composer is brought to life in critically acclaimed director, Brian Skiba's action thriller, Paradise Prey, and in prolific director and visual effects artist Yiqun Chen's psychological horror, Trapped. His work continues to be in popular demand and can be heard on a diverse range of television programming including: Off the Bat (FOX), Guy Code, Girl Code, Catfish, True Life, Are You the One (MTV / MTV2), Sag Harbor (OWN), Vice (HBO). His string work can also be found on many songwriter collaborations such as Chris Price's "Pulling Teeth" (Omnivore Recordings).
In 2019 Nadeem plans to release his own soundtrack, a collection of ten years of film scores and contemporary classical album of his own staged productions. In addition to his score work Nadeem is a professor and educator giving lectures in the music department at California State University, Northridge.
