"A life so good, it hurts!" - PETER NIKKOS
An actor, writer, and producer for screen and stage - Peter Nikkos is a proud immigrant and Chicago native residing in Los Angeles with his lovely wife - talented actress and social activist Eva Tingley.
Born in the small village of Karyes, just outside of Sparta Greece, he was raised and educated in Chicago's inner city, going on to become the first in his family to finish college when he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Park University.
With strong theatre, improv and on-camera training, Nikkos' west coast move from Chicago has yielded extensive onscreen work including AMERICAN CRIME STORY: VERSACE (FX), THE LAST SHIP (TNT), TIME TRAVELING BONG (Comedy Central) and OTHELLO (Independent). He has also made appearances on several awards shows including Spike's Guys Choice Awards and The A-List Awards.
His life-long love of theatre has yielded fearless work on Los Angeles stages that have garnered him praise for IN THE BALANCE, along with THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, THE CHERRY ORCHARD and THE REAL HOUSEKEEPERS OF STUDIO CITY.
As an avid animal lover and change advocate, he lends his heart, time and support to a myriad of charities including Women's March LA, March For Our Lives, Penny Lane Centers, Star Paws Animal Rescue, Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children and The Special Olympics. Shriners Hospital is exceptionally dear to his heart because of the wonderful care and comfort provided to his disabled sister Dimitra - Peter's personal heroine and role-model.
His well-known "A life so good, it hurts!" mantra hints at a personal philosophy of not always asking permission - we must risk well in order to live truly.
