- Has academic degrees and university education in biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology, medicine, game design, Artificial Neural Network, evolutionary robotics, Bio-business, E-business and holds over 20 Awards from this, and his work in cures for Neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinsons and Alzheimers.
- For his part in "Lotto Tvillingerne" (Lotto Twins), Per had to be shaven bald, and get up at 3 a.m. for 4 hours of makeup. In most scenes he was tied closely to his co-actor with a tight corset, and Per had to carry the shorter 70 kilo actor with his back. On top of this strain Pers back was damaged in an accident a few years earlier, so physical therapy was administered to his back each night. In the same production Per was bitten by a race horse and had to run on a sprained foot. He was on crutches between takes. A camera man broke his arm during shooting of the race boat scene, where a camera boat hit the race boat with the actors.
- Has "cheated death" many times, including but not limited to: 3 times revived as a child before the age of 7. Around the age of 10 he almost drowned in a 12" (4 meter) deep well with liquid manure, and had to pull himself up by nettles and thorn-bushes. Was narrowly missed by a speeding tank during a military exercise. Was unconscious in -21 degrees Celcius (minus 6 F) after an accident, but luckily woke up long enough to get inside before passing out again for 17 hours.
- Is biological father of more than 50 children.
- Is former commando platoon leader with 8 years of experience in the army including anti-terrorism.
- Per had to gain over 17 kilos (close to 40 pounds), in 3 weeks, for his part in "hier kommt die Sonne". He had to gain weight for 5 of his roles so far.
- Had almost complete amnesia after a bad accident.
- Was the first Danish astronaut candidate appointed by the Minister of Science. Was in a very bad traffic accident that almost killed him, and had to quit the race.
- Per is undefeated champion of Jutland in fast beer drinking. In the finals, he drank 1 liter (0.26 US gallons) of 8% alcohol (16 proof) beer from a beer can in 8 seconds.
- Thim has a university brew master degree, done in association with Carlsberg, Chr. Hansen and University of Copenhagen. As his primary exam, he achieved some remarkable results, experimenting with different yeast strains.
- He gained a lot of weight for his role in the upcoming Copenhagen Cowboy. He weighed almost 250 pounds (morning weight without clothes).
- Has published a major article on HIV in a reputable academic journal.
