Isabel Medarde Oliden is a cinema Spanish director and producer. She studied cinematography at the TAI University Center of Arts in Madrid, Drama at ESAD (University of Kent at Canterbury / Torrelodones) in the 1990s and photography at the EFTI International Centre of Photography and Cinema (Madrid) in 2014.
At the beginning of the 21st century she entered the world of cinema as an actress, continuist and making-of recorder, together with the short filmmaker from Colmenar Viejo (Madrid) Isaac Berrocal.
In 2008 she created the film production company Bambara Zinema in the city of León. Two years later, in 2010, together with Sergio González, they founded Laboratorio Bambara, a platform for audiovisual research.
In 2011 he begins to direct his own works, such as: Surya Namaskara (2011), Shakespeare was not there (2014), Pressure, depression, expression (2015), Smaug (2015) or Le Pasquín Poético (2016)
In 2016 she filmed a documentary about the councils called La voz del concejo (2016)
In 2018 she begins the production of his project "La espiral maravillosa", from which several works arise, among them: the surrealistic short film La Ranura (2019) and the film La espiral maravillosa. El Sex Appeal de las soluciones imaginarias
