Tom Barker(VII)

Tom Barker is eighteen years old, and has been acting since he was seven. His largest roles to date have been on the stage, first playing Michael Banks in Mary Poppins in 2007. Tom then went on to play Tall Boy in Billy Elliot in 2008, and The Boy in two separate runs of Waiting for Godot, performing with actors including Patrick Stewart, Ian Mckellan and Simon Callow. He has appeared on television, in shows such as Complete Guide To Parenting and Fingersmith. He has also had some small film roles, including recently in the short films French Cricket and The Schoolboy. Most recently, he has appeared in the music video for Ill Blu's Lonely People as the Dancing Boy, as well as commercials for HP and Aldi.

He lives in Mill Hill, North London, with his parents and older sister. He attends Chrystel Arts Theatre and Dance school in Edgware, where he does classes in Drama, Singing, Modern Dance, Tap and Ballet, as well as working as a teacher.

In his free time he enjoys computer games, spending time in the gym and is politically active, working with the Labour Party
