Brad Saville is an award-winning independent filmmaker and accomplished playwright living in Brooklyn.
He grew up in West Virginia and graduated from College of Charleston, SC with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Marine Biology. In 2003, his novel "Grotesque" was published, and he moved to Brooklyn. There, he was able to find a group of collaborators and investors to make his first film, "Williamsburg". The film was well-received by independent film festivals and critics, with filmthreat saying, "Williamsburg is an impressive and memorable achievement."
Over the next five years, he wrote and directed several short and full-length plays on stages throughout New York City, often collaborating with the same core troupe of actors, which became known as Eastwind Theater Company.
In fall of 2010, he began production on his second feature, "Regretting Fish". The film went on the win Best Feature and Best Screenplay at Williamsburg International Film Festival in 2011 along with other festival accolades.
