The untitled Daniels comedy, penned by Office scribe Robert Padnick, centers on a group of friends in their 20s navigating the trials and tribulations of dating. The pilot focuses on bright eyed and vulnerable Matthew being pushed by his three best friends to get back on the dating horse.

The Peacock gave a thumbs-up to an untitled project from Daniels that looks at the “trials and tribulations of dating in your twenties as explored through a group of friends. She’s looking at taking up a role in The Bourne Legacy which already has Jeremy Renner set to star. Jon Poll, the director of Charlie Bartlett and a producer/ editor of Dinner for Schmucks will direct. Michael Roiff (Serious Moonlight, Waitress s) from Night & Day Pictures is producing with Julie Yorn (Unstoppable, Bride Wars, Red Riding Hood). Myriad Pictures is pre-selling international rights in Cannes this week.
Katie Holmes plays 30-year-old-med student Liz Quinn, who meets charming 22-year-old Baxter Wood (Chace Crawford). The "Gossip Girl" actor has signed on opposite Katie Holmes in the romantic comedy "Responsible Adults," which Deadline reports is currently being shopped around at the Cannes Film Festival. In the film, Crawford plays a 22-year-old who strikes up a steamy relationship with Holmes' 30-year-old med student, only to find out -- drum roll! -- she took care of him as a kid.
