Mat Raney is a screenwriter living in Los Angeles, CA. Before launching his career in television, he was an award-winning novelist, writing as James Matlack Raney. His novel "Lord of the Wolves" won the Foreword Indie Silver for Juvenile Fiction and his novel "Jim Morgan and the Door at the Edge of the World" won the Writer's Digest Book of the Year Award for Middle Grade/YA Fiction.
