D. Thomas Porter

D. Thomas Porter was born a behavioralist; i.e., in Missouri, the show-me state. As a trained scientist (Ph.D., Florida State, 1974), he uses his photography to document the empirical reality behind the facades of life. With photo shoots from New York to the Dominican Republic to Guatemala, he works in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. He has photographed such luminaries as Bishop Desmond Tutu, Patrick Wilson, Jeff Goldblum, Katherine McPhee, and Neal Patrick Harris.
