Bryan E. Miller is a creative film composer whose goal is to help
maximize the emotional impact of visual media by creating powerful,
evocative film scores. Bryan studied at the Grove School of Music, and
UCLA Extensions Film scoring program. Early in his career Bryan honed
his craft by assisting composer Mark Waters on more than 50 episodes
for Disney and orchestrated and conducted for composer Mychael Danna
who has since won an Academy Award. Bryan then founded Sensory Overload
Music, where he has composed and produced music for hundreds of
projects and has created over 80 albums of music he licenses to movies,
television, commercials, documentaries, and DVD features. His clients
include Walt Disney, 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate, NBC Universal, CBS,
ABC, A&E and The Style Network.
You've probably heard his compositions in American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Boston Legal, The Big Bang Theory, Next Top Model, The Shield, General Hospital, Southland, and Access Hollywood, or listened to his signature music for the Comcast Logo. His music has also been featured in Superbowl commercials, Tony Scott's Dodge Ram campaign and numerous TV spots for Nike, Microsoft, Taco Bell, AOL, Wells Fargo, Campbell's, Dodge, Honda, Yamaha, John Deere, Lexus and Ford.
It was based on his versatility in multiple musical genres and his passion for making a difference beyond just art that Bryan was chosen to compose the score for the new feature film by New York Times best selling author turned filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza: "America: Imagine the World without Her." This is the much anticipated follow up to D'Souza's surprise hit, 2016: Obama's America becoming the second highest grossing political documentary in history. Produced by Academy Award winner Gerald Molen (Schindler's List, Jurassic Park) and scheduled for wide release on July 4 weekend. The story spans continents, centuries, and musical styles; from orchestral, Americana, Mexican, Irish, Native American, Negro spirituals, electronica, to protest rock which gave Miller a chance to showcase the depth and range of his musical expertise.
Bryan has signed with Milan Records, which released the America soundtrack album in July 2014. America is actually Miller's third feature documentary this year. Though primarily a composer of dramatic and narrative films, Miller loves the documentary genre, and frequently takes time to compose music for charities and humanitarian organizations like St. Jude Children's Hospital, World Vision, Best Friends Animal Rescue, and The Museum of Tolerance. Bryan's view: "It's a wonderful feeling when you can be part of a passionate team that wants to bring positive change to the world."
Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Bryan now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and 3 children.
