Federal agent dramas, a Mindy Kaling comedy and more Fox pilots to watch for 2012-13

There are so many pilots potentially coming your way for the 2012-13 season that Zap2it is trying to help you weed through them all. Here are the Fox pilots that might make it to your TV screen later this year.

Dramas

"The Asset": Ali Larter is photographer who is also a highly specialized CIA operative. Hamish Linklater plays her handler. Bradley Whitford and Jamie Chung have also been cast.

"Guilty": A false-accused defense attorney (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is found guilty and stripped of his license to practice. So he goes about solving cases his own way, while looking to exact revenge on the man who set him up. Jay Harrington, Eva Amurri and Julian Morris also star.

'The Artist' star Missi Pyle joins 'Glee's Mike O'Malley in Fox pilot
The Artist star Missi Pyle has joined Fox comedy pilot Prodigy Bully. Pyle - who played Constance in the Oscar-winning film - will play a lead role in the project, according to Deadline. Glee's Mike O'Malley has written and will also star in Prodigy Bully, which follows Audie Murphy, a young boy genius who uses his brains and brawn to manipulate others. Pyle, who has recently appeared on Two and a Half Men and The Mentalist, will portray Audie's mother Celeste, while O'Malley will play his father. The role of Audie is yet to be cast, though 90210's Hayley Holmes has signed up to play the boy's sister. Cody (more)

‘The Artist’s Missi Pyle To Co-Star In Fox Comedy Pilot ‘Prodigy Bully’

Exclusive: Hot off her co-starring turn in the Oscar-winning The Artist, Missi Pyle has joined Fox’s half-hour comedy pilot Prodigy Bully, written by Mike O’Malley and executive produced by John Wells. Based on the Prodigy Bully one-minute movies by Hank Perlman, the Warner Bros/John Wells Prods comedy centers on Audie Murphy, a young boy genius who uses his brains and brawn to get whatever he wants. Pyle will play Celeste, Audie’s intense mother. O’Malley plays the boy’s father. Audie has not been cast yet, but several other kids in the pilot have: Hayley Holmes is set as Audie’s sister, Jackie; Cody Sullivan will play the entitled Colby, a fellow gifted student at Audie’s new school; and Ysa Penajero is Heather Kwitkowski-Welch, another gifted student at Audie’s new school and the girl of Audie’s dreams. Silver Regains Her Brain Power

Did anyone else smirk (or rolled their eyes in a “Thank God!” fashion) when Silver finally put two and two together about Cannon? It was like Silver finally took her aspirations to be an journalist to heart and actually used the talent the Good Lord gave her. I was hoping that she had of given Cannon a piece of her mind to let him know that he’d been caught. However, Silver ran to Naomi, the source of her new unease with Mr. Sleaze, and found her dear friend slumped over after an apparent suicide attempt. How long will it be before these two take Mr. Cannon down? And most importantly, who will believe them?
