With a background as a theater set designer, JP began his career in animation at Aardman Features in Bristol, UK in the art department. He moved into animation on Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and was a founding member of the directing team that created the Emmy Award-winning Shaun the Sheep series.
JP then moved to Pixar where he worked on the story of the acclaimed Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur. He is currently directing Ron's Gone Wrong for Disney/Fox with Locksmith Animation in London. The film will be released in theaters on October 22, 2021.
