Eugene was born and raised in Lawnside, NJ. He is of African American
descent. At a very young age Eugene knew he wanted to pursue a career
in filmmaking. A very studious child Eugene stated that he wanted to
become an attorney and until graduating college was pursuing just that.
He earned his BA in Political Science from Rowan University in
Glassboro, NJ in 2005. Soon after Eugene would land his first acting
job in Lady in the Water. That experience pushed Eugene to pursue his
film career.
