Anna Mercedes Bergion is a Swedish actress, writer, and director based in Gothenburg. Anna began her acting career with a leading episodic role in the popular TV series Kommissarie Winter (2003). Since then, she has appeared in several notable productions, including the award-winning feature film Trädgårdsgatan (2017).
As a filmmaker, her short films Mansgris (2016) and Dreamlife (2017) premiered to acclaim, winning 'Best Foreign Film' at the Lady Filmmakers Festival in Los Angeles and the 'Méliès d'Argent' award at the Fantastisk Filmfestival in Lund, respectively. Both films have continued to garner recognition at international festivals.
