At fifteen I received a guitar for my birthday and found my first true love within the hungry arms of music. Though my love affair with music has never left me entirely, the medium continued to frustrate me. I moved from guitar to the role of singing in bands but as time went by and adolescence was replaced by adulthood, the music took back-seat to my interest in lyrics and the stories I could weave within them. I make this out that it was a sudden change of direction. In reality about ten years passed and by the end of this decade my music had become a jealous mistress and demanded I choose either it or the stories. I chose the stories.
