Marie Sabbah attended classical music studies at the Dijon Regional Academy of Music (Piano, musical theory, harmony) as well as a jazz training at the CIM - International Academy of Music in Paris (arrangements and orchestrations for Big Bang). She also graduated a Master's Degree in musicology at University of Paris VIII.

After teaching music, Marie became a musical copyist in all styles, before specializing in film scores. The quality of her "by ear" copying led her to collaborate with such prestigious and demanding composers as Gabriel Yared, Philippe Sarde, Georges Delerueand Ennio Morricone.

In 1993, Marie Sabbah founded Diesis Music and worked regularly with the drum composer Steve Shehan producing his several project (world music, film music, contemporary music, concerts, ballet music). She soon promoted the American jazzmens Marc Copland, Bruce Dunlap and Peter Herbert. At the same time, she wrote arrangements and orchestrations performed by the lyric singer Wilheilminia Fernandez with the Ile-de-France National Orchestra. Since 1996 she started as film composer's agent first with Pierre Adenot (Paris I love you) , Cyrille Aufort (Splice) , Christophe La Pinta (La Chance de ma vie) and many others. She developed with them the music supervision, adding synchronization clearance rights and copyright control to her activities.

After five years of collaboration in Film Music Services, Marie Sabbah got her independence back. Feature films and TV movies, TV series and ballet music, original soundtrack for films : Small and large projects are being carried out in Marie Sabbah Agency, her very own film composer agency that also offers music supervision as well as executive music production, copyright control and music publishing catalogues for film producers all over the world.
