David Tibet(I)

The British experimental recording artist and poet was born David Michael Bunting in March of 1960 in Malaysia. A lifelong interest in the occult and mysticism has become the monogram of his distinctive aesthetic style which began to manifest in England's "industrial" music scene during the early 1980s. Chiefly noted as a recurring member of Nurse With Wound and as the doyen behind open-ended music project Current 93, he has also collaborated with many renowned musicians such as Nick Cave and Bjork. Aside from his music career, he also paints, and his work has been represented in a number of esteemed galleries.
