Zee James is a Screen Actors Guild Award Winning Actress and professional stuntwoman.

Recently, Zee appeared in the categories "The Physics of Taekwondo" and "Taekwondo" during this 36th and 37th seasons of Jeopardy!. In 2021, Zee can be seen in the new season of Selena: The Series, playing the role of Julia on Netflix.

Zee's recent credits include CBS's The Neighborhood, Amazon's 6th Season of Bosch (opposite Lance Reddick and Amy Aquino) and NBC's Good Girls (opposite Christina Hendricks and Matthew Lillard). Zee could also be seen on the FX series Snowfall and playing the role of Monique on the Netflix series Dear White People (opposite Nia Long).

Her first recurring role was as "Adult Tonya" in the TV comedy series Everybody Hates Chris in which Zee was commended for her "comedic timing" and "appealing demeanor." Her one-time part soon evolved into a recurring role.

Originally from Tupelo, Mississippi, Zee moved to Los Angeles with $500 in her pocket and a dream in her heart. Her passion for stunts grew out of a love for athletics and martial arts. A college track star and competitor in Taekwondo, Zee met actor and martial artist, Michael Jai White while training and through him was introduced to a Hollywood stunt coordinator who went on to hire Zee for her first stunt job. As a stunt performer, Zee's work is featured in Grey's Anatomy, How To Get Away With Murder, Scandal, Lucifer, S.W.A.T., Why Women Kill and American Horror Story...to name a few.

In 2018, Zee won a SAG award for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in Marvel's Black Panther, opposite Chadwick Boseman. She was first nominated in 2017 in the same category for Marvel's Captain America: Civil War. Her stunts can be seen in hit films such as Straight Outta Compton (in which Zee also acted) and the critically acclaimed Dolemite starring Eddie Murphy.

Besides acting, Zee is an avid traveler and influencer. Zee's social media handle is @beingzeejames on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
