Jenna Coleman is best known for her BAFTA-nominated performance as Clara in 'Doctor Who' and for playing the title role in ITV's Emmy-nominated series 'Victoria'. She was most recently seen in a lead role as Marie-Andrée Leclerc in the dark crime drama 'The Serpent' for BBC and Netflix opposite Tahar Rahim, and in the critically acclaimed miniseries 'The Cry' for the BBC/Sundance. On-stage, she was most recently seen at The Old Vic in 'All My Sons' alongside Bill Pullman and Sally Field. Upcoming is Neil Maskell's feature debut 'Klokkenluider' and Warner Brothers'/Netflix anticipated series, 'The Sandman' as Johanna Constantine

While auditioning for Doctor Who, the code name that was used was Men on Waves, an anagram for Woman Seven.
Voted Best Female Guest Star for Season 7A for Asylum of The Daleks by readers of Doctor Who Magazine.
In an interview with Gerard Gilbert of The Independent (UK newspaper), she said of the name change from Jenna-Louise to Jenna, "The boring truth is that people have never really called me Jenna-Louise and I just found it very strange because I started to do more interviews and go places where people I didn't know kept calling me Jenna-Louise. It sounded odd to me.".
Her grandmother named her after the character Jenna Wade played by Priscilla Presley on the 1980s TV drama 'Dallas'.
