Stardust August 1987 magazine carried a story about how Helena and Vijayendra met at a party. One thing lead to another and they ended up at Vijayendra's home . Vijayendra fully drunk came after her with a razor blade. He ended up making deep gashes on her. When questioned Vijayendra denied the incident and said he only met Helena Luke once at a party and she was very drunk. She went on to misbehave with him and made several advances on him.
