L.A. Film Noir Thriller ‘Whisper’ Underway With Maia Mitchell, Joey Bicicchi & Guy Burnet

Exclusive: Unified Pictures announced today that its film noir thriller Whisper is in production starring Maia Mitchell, Joey Bicicchi, and Guy Burnet.

Azi Rahman is making his feature directorial debut on Whisper with Unified Pictures’ Keith Kjarval writing and producing the project. Ben Ruffman will serve as Ep.

In Whisper, Bicicchi plays Nick, a talented photographer who is new to Los Angeles. He falls quickly in love with Tessa (Mitchell), a free-spirited young woman who is no longer charmed by the city. Their worlds are turned upside down when she asks him to do the unimaginable, which leads to him uncovering a dark truth, forcing them down a path of revenge and destruction. Katelyn Pippy (Army Wives) and Ronnie Gene Blevins (Death Wish) also star.

Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner and More Support Variety's Power of Youth

A number of young stars were present at Variety's 4th Annual Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California. Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian's half sister Kendall Jenner, Bailee Madison and Bella Thorne were among those who attended the event which was held to celebrate young stars and their involvement with philanthropic and humanitarian causes.

Bieber hit the Sunday afternoon, October 24 event in an orange shirt and dark trousers. The "Baby" hitmaker was honored at the gala for his work with Pencils of Promise, a philanthropic organization that works with local communities to build schools and increase educational opportunities worldwide.

"Best part was I got to surprise the charities being honored," Bieber said as quoted by Just Jared Jr. "My show tomorrow at the Staples Center in L.A. is sold out but we saved 500 tickets to give 100 each to each charity being honored to give to kids

Army Wives” is a show that has become a fan favorite and an outright good drama to watch. The show that airs on Lifetime hasn’t gotten all the recognition is deserves, not only from the amazing performances delivered from an all-star cast, but also because of the story line that tackles real stories going on today. “Army Wives” stars Kim Delaney, Catherine Bell, Sally Pressman, Brigid Brannagh, Wendy Davis, Brian McNamara, Sterling K. Brown, Drew Fuller, Terry Serpico, and Katelyn Pippy. The show follows these army wives that are living on an active Army post as their husbands go in and out of the current war in Iraq. The show tackles the struggles these real women face as well as their friendships and how the war affects the entire family.

Lifetime has announced the premiere date of season four of Army Wives.

Cable's number-one rated drama among women ages 18-49 will return this spring. Look for it to debut on April 11 at 10 p.m

"Next season of Army Wives promises to be one of its best ever and we are very excited to bring it back to Lifetime's viewers in April," said JoAnn Alfano, Executive Vice President, Entertainment, of Lifetime Networks.  "Scheduling Army Wives' return for the spring falls in line with our strategy to provide our audience with a steady stream of original programming year-round."
