The CW Shifts ‘In the Dark’ & ‘Stargirl’ Premiere Dates, Summons ‘Whose Line’ In Covid 19-Related Scheduling Changes As ‘Supernatural’ & ‘Legacies’ Bow Out
The CW has become the first network to make primetime scheduling changes in response to the seasons of most of its series getting cut short by the coronavirus-imposed mass production shutdowns.

As confirmed by Supernatural executive producer Andrew Dabb on Monday, this week’s Episode 13 of the show’s final season was the last “for awhile.” Starting next Monday, March 30, the CW will air Whose Line Is It Anyway original episodes (at 8 Pm) and repeats (at 8:30 Pm) in Supernatural‘s time slot.

There's good news tonight. The CW has given an early third season renewal to the network's In the Dark TV series. The show was renewed for a second season back in May 2019, while the first season was still airing. There's no word on when season two will see the light of day but a summer run seems likely.

In a move to authentic representation and inclusion, gender non-conforming writer and producer Jacob Tobia is joining the voice cast of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power in the role of the non-binary character Double Trouble for season four of the Netflix animated series which will debut on November 5.

Double Trouble shape-shifting mercenary from the Crimson Waste, who joins forces with Catra and the Horde. They are able to magically transform themselves into any person they see and has a soul of a thespian, spending hours in “character study” trying to perfectly mimic their target. Netflix has announced that season three of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is set to hit the streaming service on August 2nd, and is bringing with it a classic character from the original She-Ra: Princess of Power in the Salaxian bounty hunter Huntara.

Voiced by Oscar-winner Geena Davis, Huntara is described by Deadline as “the imposing de facto leader of the Crimson Waste, who reluctantly helps Adora, Glimmer and Bow on a quest.”

The CW Renews ‘All American,’ ‘The 100,’ ‘In the Dark’ and ‘Roswell, New Mexico’

The CW has announced a flurry of renewals.

Three of the network’s freshman shows, “All American,” “Roswell, New Mexico” and “In The Dark,” will return for second seasons, as well as “The 100,” which gets a seventh outing. This means that all five of The CW’s first-year shows, including the previously-renewed “Legacies” and “Charmed,” have been picked up for a sophomore run, a first for the network.

The sixth season of “The 100” is set to premiere on April 30, and will see the characters descending to a new planet after being frozen in stasis pods on a spaceship for decades, after escaping an uninhabitable Earth.
