Dwight Turner is an Accomplished and Multifaceted Executive Producer, Director, Casting Director, and Actor whose vast body of work includes Award Winning Movies, Television, Commercials, Voice-over, Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Modeling.
Dwight is CEO of Movie Town Productions and is Executive Producing and Directing the documentary REP about Kentucky State Representative Daniel Grossberg. He is also co-executive producer, director, and host on the upcoming series Expedition Paranormal.
Bringing both comedic and dramatic talent to the screen, Dwight is best known for his roles on American television where he co-starred on NBC's Chicago Fire as Doctor Mabery opposite Yuriy Sardarov in a key plot for the series, on Undercovers as the very concerned Alex, and on Suddenly Susan as the intoxicating Polyester. He guest starred as the heroic Detective Michael Zack on Murder Comes to Town, Detective Doug Niemeier on Evil Talks: Chilling Confessions, and co-starred as the crime solving Bridgewater Police Chief on Betrayed for Investigation Discovery. Other guest star and co-star appearances span a variety of shows like 1000 Ways to Die for Spike TV, The Story Behind the Story with Mike Rowe, Fatal Attraction, and Rx. He played series regular Nathan on Bear Tours, and the recurring role of James Norton on The Pact.
Expanding from television into film Dwight starred as Edward the contradicting husband in the award winning The Contradictory Couple, Travis Warner the villain attorney set on destroying Christmas in the award winning Anything But Christmas, and a supporting role as Theophelies in The Deported opposite Nicholas Turturro, Talia Shire, and Kathrine Narducci. Dwight has taken on lead roles as angry Alexander Sly in Gradation, and a very frustrated yet plotting Ray Foley in The Wallet. His experience also spans projects on the competition circuits with starring roles like anchorman Jason Topper in The Gestapo vs. Granny for HBO's Project Greenlight, and the scheming lead Brent Stealmoney in Out-Sorcery which was nominated Best Humor Film at Comic-Con International San Diego.
Crossing into voice-over, Dwight has enjoyed heroic roles like Green Lantern for Six Flags DC Comics Super Heroes and the Doctor for WebMD.
