Dom Zook
- Producer
- Actor
- Director
Founder and president of GadZook Films, Dom has been making movies
since early 1999. A graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with
absolutely no Lutheran background he got his start producing 2 seasons
of the semi-popular Seattle public access show "The Night Shift." He
went on to produce and direct "Hot Crotch Duggin," a short comedy about
a hapless baseball player forgotten by history. He produced GadZook's
first feature-film, "Muffled By Pastry" in 2003. In 2004 he gathered a
group of Seattle filmmakers to produce 6 distinctly different short
films under the moniker of the 6 Short Films Project. The wildly
popular zombie short "Snow Day, Bloody Snow Day" soon followed in 2005.
Since 2005 he has produced an audience award winner in every 48 Hour
Filmmaking competition he's competed in (the count is up to 5 now),
sent Snow Day to over 3 dozen film festivals around the world and as of
mid-2010 was prepping several web-based projects for release.
