Tara Ketterer is a native of Wisconsin, where she developed a love of acting and singing at a very early age. She comes from a large family of seven which surrounded her with music and encouraged her to live and dream creatively. Tara went on to study Theatre Arts in college. Some of her Theatrical credits include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Helen Jones in Machinal, Shirley in Fifth of July Marya in Wasted, Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker, Claire in Fuddy Meers, Myrrha, Hunger, and Midas's daughter in Metamorphoses, Sara in Stop Kiss, and Laura in The Glass Menagerie.
After graduating with a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Acting, Tara worked on several films in Chicago, IL including The Break Up, Witless Protection, The Express, and The Lucky Ones. This close up, behind the scenes look at the film world sparked a larger passion for acting and film production. Tara ultimately landed in L.A. and worked on projects including the television shows Dexter and True Blood, and the films, Preist, The Runnaways, Dirty Girl, and The Guardians.
In addition to acting Tara completed a Masters program in Special Education and Autism and certification in Cognitive Diversity in Education, specializing in Neurodiversity.
Today, Tara Ketterer is an actor and a co-author of the children's book, Minivan Mozart, and creator of Ponder Ed, Neuro Resource Hub, Neuro Eats and Brain Treats, and Brick'n Learn.
