Producer/Actor Randy Molnar just hit Fangoria with a batch of stills and the latest trailer for Ric La Monte's The Tenant. The film was recently completed in Florida, and the filmmakers promise that it "brings together a dramatic classic feel with its tale of horror at Edgewood Asylum, and transforms into a modern day masterpiece of mayhem, with outstanding special effects and surprising twists."
J. Larose (Saw III, Repo!, Mother's Day) toplines the film along with horror icon Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes, The Devil's Rejects) and Bill Cobbs (Night At The Museum).
As the tormented Dr. Newman (Randy Molnar- Contract Killers, This Man’s Life, Larry the Cable Guy) conducts his dark experiments inside Edgewood Asylum, something goes horribly wrong. Twenty-eight years later, in the depths of the asylum, something evil still survives. The Tenant takes you on a terrifying ride of shocking images and a bloody conclusion.

Mostly involving a series of flashing images, "The Message," from Clay Castle Productions seems to need a message of its own. But, visually the teaser works on some level and captures the theme of a psychological horror film; have a first look at this film, which will be available in 2009, probably on DVD.
