ABC Finally Announces That Marvel's Inhumans Has Been Cancelled

Surprise! ABC has officially pulled the plug on Marvel's Inhumans series. It ran for one season, and it's not coming back. Yeah, I know it's not really surprising news. We all knew the show was going to get canceled because it was so damn bad. I personally didn't make it through four episodes. It just never grabbed me.

It's a shame because these are all such great characters and it could've been a solid series if Marvel and the creative team actually handled them properly. In the end, the Inhumans should have been a movie. Oh well, I guess you can't win 'em all, no matter how bad you want to think that you did a great job. I think it's funny that it took them this long to admit defeat.

Marvel’s Inhumans explored the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family, including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans.

Movie Review – Den of Thieves (2018)

Den of Thieves, 2018.

Starring Gerard Butler, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Pablo Schreiber, Evan Jones, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Dawn Olivieri, Brian Van Holt, Jordan Bridges, Eric Braeden, Maurice Compte, Sonya Balmores, Cooper Andrews, Meadow Williams, Kaiwi Lyman, Jay Dobyns, Nick Loeb, Mo McRae, and Jermaine Rivers.

Synopsis:

As a series of heists escalate across the L.A. landscape, we get to see both sides of the law; riding with Nick O’Brien (Gerard Butler) and his group of Semper Fi elite unit cops, and Ray Merrimen (Pablo Schreiber) with his tight-knit crew of career criminals. Den of Thieves chronicles their respective preparations during the build up to an ambitious take down of the Federal Reserve Bank.

The only director capable of remaking Heat was Michael Mann, whose crime-epic was a redo of his own 1989 TV movie L.A. Takedown. With Den of Thieves it appears that the

Second Opinion – Den of Thieves (2018)

Den of Thieves, 2018.

Synopsis:

A gritty crime saga which follows the lives of an elite unit of the La County Sheriff’s Dept. and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank.

If there’s one thing Den of Thieves is good for, it’s reassuring audiences that writer/director Christian Gudegast has *definitely* seen Michael Mann’s Heat. No question. Gudegast undoubtedly flipped Heat on one night while writing this rugged thug cons versus thug cops standoff, which lead to connective ties in multiple scene by scene comparisons. Inspiration,

Movie Review – Den of Thieves (2018)

Den of Thieves, 2018.

Believe it or not, I’m always up for a cheesy action romp headlined by Gerard Butler, as he knows his wheelhouse and the extent of his capabilities as an actor. It has gotten to a point where he elevates mostly terrible concepts into dumb fun. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Den of Thieves (the directorial debut from Christian Gudecast,

Den of Thieves Trailer Has Gerard Butler Chasing Down 50 Cent

Den of Thieves Trailer Has Gerard Butler Chasing Down 50 Cent
Stx Entertainment has released the first trailer and poster for Den of Thieves, a new crime thriller starring Gerard Butler as a legendary Los Angeles cop trying to take down a brazen crew of bank robbers. Along with this new trailer, Stx has also debuted quite the unique poster, with this team of cops lead by Gerard Butler's Nick Flanagan on one side, and the bank robbers lead by 50 Cent's character on the bottom, which can be reversed so the robbers side is on top and the cops are on the bottom. We'll have to wait until January to find out who truly comes out on top in this epic thriller.

A Los Angeles crime saga in the vein of Heat, Den of Thieves follows the intersecting and often personally connected lives of an elite unit of the La County Sheriff's Dept. and the state's most successful bank robbery

Gerard Butler & 50 Cent in First Trailer for Crime Film 'Den of Thieves'

"You're not the bad guys... we are." Another new Heat wannabe movie. Stx Entertainment has dropped the first trailer for an action crime thriller titled Den of Thieves, from writer/director Christian Gudegast. The movie is about a thief who gets trapped between two sides of a heist and two sets of "criminals" - an elite unit of the La County Sheriff's Dept. and the state's most successful bank robbery crew. Gerard Butler stars, with 50 Cent, Pablo Schreiber, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sonya Balmores, Maurice Compte, Evan Jones, Brian Van Holt, Jordan Bridges, and Eric Braeden. This seems like it's going to have quite a few big twists, and characters who don't turn out to be who they seem to be (obviously enough). With Gerard Butler, 50 Cent, and a January release date, this is pretty much a disaster in the making. Have fun. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Christian Gudegast's Den of Thieves,

Inhumans Star Thinks Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Crossover Is Possible

Seeing as every movie and TV show produced by Marvel Studios takes place in the same shared universe – the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to be exact – it’s a constant source of disappointment to fans that any chance of a crossover between the heroes of the silver and small screens has been repeatedly ruled out. This could have changed with Inhumans, though. As the property was originally set to be a movie before being transferred to TV, it was theoretically possible that it would be the one to bridge the gap.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there’s much hope of that happening anymore. While chatting with ComicBook.com, Inhumans star Sonya Balmores – who plays Auran on the show – was asked about the idea of a crossover with the films. She quickly skirted that issue, but did suggest that the series could cross paths with its fellow ABC show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
