Christopher Nicholson is an experienced Film Director with over 20 years of professional directing experience. He has made feature films and short films (both in 2D and 3D), cinema and TV commercials, live and multi-camera TV and documentaries. He started his career at the BBC, moved to ITV, left to run a production company for 7 years and decided to become fully freelance as a Writer/Director in 2000.

Is a guest lecturer at a variety of film and drama schools including the University of Bedfordshire.
Has a reputation as an early adopter having been the first Director in the UK to shoot a cinema commercial digitally in association with Sony, first to shoot a commercial that incorporated live action footage in a Virtual Studio in association with Molinare, first to create a narrative drama with Vision 2 T-Grain film stock in association with Kodak, first to shoot a music video using a RED One camera and first to shoot a demonstration trailer of the Sony flagship F65 camera in association with the Sony Digital Motion Picture Centre and Pinewood Studios.
Invented a new form of stereoscopic filmmaking called NVE® (a hybrid between stage and screen) which was then developed and trademarked in association with the Producer Brian Freeston.
A Durham University graduate from the faculties of Psychology and Music specializing in visual perception and psychoacoustics.
In development of his first novel, Mules.
Creative Director and Executive Producer of a number of charity projects including nationwide cinema and TV campaigns for Crisis and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
