Originally from Japan, He is action director and editor currently based in Los Angeles.

In Japan, early 2000, Ken Ohara and his brother, Go (Action Director of Death Trance), began shooting a number of reputable independent short action movies. Known as the Ohara Brothers, their movies incorporated Hong Kong style wire techniques, which enhanced the low budget productions. This soon caught the attention of audiences and industry people across Japan.

Later that year, Ken made the decision to come to America and study the Hollywood style of film making. Ken directed his first action film during the spring of 2001, in doing so he went back to Japan to scout the talents of Hayabusa Action Team, U'den Flame Works (Versus, Shinobi, Death Trance) and of course his older brother, Go. His first film was entitled "City of Yokohama", the name of Ken's hometown. The film won him Best Picture 2001 at his school and it even played it at a local theater for a limited time. Audiences were fascinated and the response was overwhelming. A year later Ken had another chance to direct a 16mm action short film project. His next project was called "Imagery" and was shot in the winter of 2002. Again, Ken won his schools best picture award. He graduated in the spring of 2002 and returned to Japan.

Ken's next feature project took him back to Japan where he was commissioned to be 1st Assistant Action Director been released DVD called "So Soldier". Go Ohara was the Action Director and this film marked the reunion of the Ohara Brothers which has a lot of Hong Kong style wire techniques.

After finishing "So Soldier", Ken made the journey back to the U.S. and was commissioned to work on the games, movies, televisions, music video and so on. Ken was hired as Action Director and Editor and also Camera Operator including all the wire action technique.
