Co-host of Battle of The Sexes Sports Talk Show, Ameona Leigh Almund, is a sports reporter, actress, and model. On March 5, 2012, she was a guest host on retired Detroit Lions, Lamar Campbell's, Life After The Game sports talk show.

As an actress, she played Venessa Fitch, aka under cover FBI agent, in the football picks webisode, We Pick The Winners with The Wise Guys. Showtime's, Inside The NFL, featured We Pick The Winners on their show on January 12, 2011. She starred in the short films, Love Triangle, Insane, & Dear Marcus Luke. She also had a featured role in the movie, Dark House, starring Diane Salinger and Jeffrey Combs.

As a model, she was a contestant in the 2006 Miss California Pageant. She was a model in the TV pilot, America's Most Smartest Model, which was picked up for one season by VH1. She starred in the USA Networks show, Character Fantasy, in the episode, Sexy Life Guard. She has been featured in the Scoop LA two times once as Ms Scoop January 2011, Eerie Digest, Harlem Business News Magazine, USB Magazine, Black Star News Magazine, and a Verizon Print Advertisement.

She believes in giving back. Her motto is give and it will come back to you. She is a member of the NAACP, Step Up Women's Network, and the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program.

Ameona has a love for all sports, but her favorite sports are basketball and football. Her favorite NBA team is the Chicago Bulls and her favorite college basketball team is the UNC Tar Heels. As for football, she likes the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and those New England Patriots. Her favorite state is California, as Beverly Hills is the best place in the world to live. She loves to shop, read, write, have fun, and most of all the Lord.
