Aaron King is a visionary creative force whose expertise spans nearly three decades in production and interior design. As the CEO of Koncept Design Group (KDG), Aaron has built a reputation for delivering innovative, world-class environments that blend creative artistry with commercial appeal. Born and raised in Southern California, Aaron discovered his passion for design and storytelling early. He attended California State University Fullerton, majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Radio, Television, and Film Production, while minoring in Theatre. Aaron's experience managing annual budgets exceeding $2 million with the South Coast Repertory Theatre (SCR) where he collaborated with theatrical, television, and film set designers which provided the foundation for his unique design style. While there, he was part of the production team honored with a Tony Award for excellence in the production of Dinner with Friends.
Upon launching Koncept Design Group, Aaron's career took a global turn as he contributed to major productions, including the theme park attraction "Movie Magic" for Universal Studios Japan in collaboration with Steven Spielberg. His film credits include contributions to Dante's Peak directed by Roger Donaldson, The Scorpion King directed by Chuck Russell, and The Firm directed by Sydney Pollack. These experiences enriched Aaron's appreciation for various artistic media, styles, and time periods, shaping his approach to design as a versatile storyteller.
During that time, Aaron received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Art Direction for his work on the stage production of Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby when it aired on A&E.

Notable projects include the Marina Del Rey Marriott's Glow Bar, celebrated by the Los Angeles Times as one of the "classiest places in LA" and named by Playboy as one of the top 10 outdoor lounge bars in the United States. Similarly, his renovation of the Seal Beach multi-million-dollar residence showcases his talent for marrying modern luxury with timeless sophistication.
