Did You Know?


A 1954 alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, he was a sportswriter for the Philadelphia Inquirer for forty years (1955-1995) with a hiatus of five months writing for the old Philadelphia Bulletin in 1975. A personal friend of George Steinbrunner, Dolson worked for the New York Yankees as a "Special Assistant" after his retirement.
