Michelle Alexandria, an LA native, began her career in finance, working with high-net-worth individuals and leading financial institutions. As Finance Director of Jaguar Cars for many years, she cultivated expertise in managing high-profile clientele, an experience that eventually inspired her transition to the entertainment industry. Her creative journey commenced at the esteemed Beverly Hills Playhouse, and during her time living in Paris with family, she furthered her education at the Sorbonne University as well as trained in acting under Nathalie Cheron, the renowned casting director for Luc Besson. Splitting her time between Los Angeles and Paris, Michelle's exposure to global cinema naturally led her to the business of filmmaking.

Michelle's initial foray into Hollywood was marked by her financial success in theater production, quickly establishing her as a sought-after producer of feature-length films. Since 2002, she has been a fixture at premier film markets and festivals, including Cannes, AFM, Berlin, Buenos Aires, UniFrance, and Sundance. Her expertise spans development, acquisitions, and distribution, representing film investors and securing projects with strong market appeal.

Her producing credits reflect a discerning eye for captivating stories. Among her earlier works is First Dog, a family-friendly film starring Eric Roberts and Priscilla Barnes, which enjoyed significant success on Redbox, holding the #1 position for several weeks. Other notable projects include A Life Lived with Denise Richards and Jennifer Taylor of Two and a Half Men, comedy feature film The Extendables featuring Mark Dacascos, Kevin Sorbo and Martin Kove, and additionally the romantic comedy Coup de Foudre à Saint Germain des Prés (English title: "Love At First Site in Paris) starring veteran French actor Bernard Menez, which premiered at Cannes and secured an immediate distribution deal.

In 2019, Michelle founded her production company, Light Year Pictures, focusing on sci-fi, family and faith-based content, and action-adventure films. Her recent productions includes dramedy The Tale of Nicky Newark, starring Sean Patrick Flanery, Frank Whaley, and Kelly Stables; an equestrian family film Kaitlyn's Chance starring Sean Patrick Flanery and Jaime King; faith-based film Reason to Believe with Jennifer Taylor; and the sci-fi time-travel adventure Sideslip, starring Chase Coleman of The Originals and Bruce Locke of Immortal Combat. She also collaborates on European productions, including an upcoming film set in Tuscany Italy starring Hungarian actress Lili Bordán.

Beyond producing, Michelle is a seasoned distributor, having acquired and distributed hundreds of films worldwide. She is a proud standing member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) on the Producer's Council. She also holds a position on the advisory board of the Burbank International Film Festival for several years. She is passionate about mentoring emerging filmmakers, teaching film courses, and offering consultancy to help creatives achieve their storytelling goals.
